I need these J.Crew Bowdelaire ballet flats ($158) in my life, stat. The sparkle peep-toe gives just enough kick to the muted grey (also available in earth green), while letting a poppy pink or coral pedi peek through. And despite their twinkliness, they can be worn with nearly any outfit as a neutral. Perfect for spring and the warm weather ahead, these are definitely going to put a spring in your step.

The Sneaky Brow Sabotage
Got sparse brows? Trying to grow out a thicker, lusher set? Or just really obsessed with the power brow? If you’ve been trying to let your brows grow in, but aren’t noticing a difference, your skincare regime may be secretly sabotaging your efforts.
Moisturizers and skin creams can clog the hair follicles on the brow line. This stunts new growth, preventing hairs from sprouting up out of the follicle. Keep pores free and clear by avoiding the brow area when slathering on your skin cream. That will allow new hairs to grow and fill in sparse spots.
MAC Unveils Viva Glam Gaga 2
MAC debuted a sequel to its wildly popular Viva Glam Gaga lipsticks and glosses. Viva Glam Gaga 2 is a neutral nude for a lip that lets your eyes do the talking. Pair them with dramatic smoky eyes, or a neutral shade, like Gaga does here.
The 2-piece collection contains a gloss and lipstick. They’re complementary and work with each other, and the gloss works beautifully with darker shades (it lightens them).
The collection is available in stores and online now.
Take a Hint?
Love the look of defined brows, but hate the time it takes to get them? When you’re frazzled and running late on hectic mornings, a few precious minutes mean everything. Filling brows in, brushing the color through, setting them in place with gel…sometimes it just takes too much time. So when I heard that A-list L.A. brow salon Billion Dollar Brows made Hint of Tint ($18), a 2-in-1 brow gel and tint, I knew I had to give it a whirl.
For starters, Hint of Tint looks like a pliable mascara tube. The cap pulls off to reveal a mascara wand coated in a mousse-like product that also looks a lot like mascara. BDB promises this tinted brow gel will fill in your brows with color and set them in place in 1 easy, quick swipe.
Does it multi-task with defined color and hold? Find out!
MARC by Marc Jacobs F/W 2011
Yesterday during New York Fashion Week, the fall ’11 MARC by Marc Jacobs ready-to-wear collection was unveiled. And what a collection it was. A throwback to the ’70s with a vintage vibe thrown in, the models strutted down the runway in clothes that were relaxed and ladylike all at once. Structured handbags were complemented by feminine silky scarves in bright solid colors. And those killer oversized shades are a must-have.
BHLDN.
If you follow fashion, you’ve likely heard the major buzz about BHLDN, Anthropologie’s new bridal offshoot brand. Bhldn (pronounced “beholden”) features wedding gowns and accessories with a vintage vibe and feminine embellishments. The gowns are not overly fussy, but intricately detailed in just the right ways.
And they don’t stop at bridal gowns — they’ve got bridesmaid/party dresses, to-die-for hair accessories, jewelry, shoes, and lingerie. Basically everything a bride-to-be needs.
Here are some standout picks from BHLDN’s new collection, which is available online now.

Good Hair Day

I’ll admit, I was late on the Moroccanoil bandwagon. And my hair is pissed, now that I’ve found Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask ($32).
The thick, rich, buttery deep conditioner is the consistency of pudding. I’m convinced that this little miracle worker can revive even the brittlest, driest hair back to shiny healthiness. It’s not going to happen overnight, but it really will make your hair stronger. I attribute it to the argan oil that’s whipped into it, which is the genius ingredient in all Moroccanoil products. The first few times I used it, my hair was limp and kind of flat; then, I noticed it looking fuller and less raggedy. It also helped with the static-y flyaways winter has been giving me. The tub is generously-sized, as you really don’t need much to do the job. I just coat the ends and let it soak in for a few. For really deep conditioning, wrap your mane in a warm towel and rinse after 15 minutes. You’ll be shocked how soft your hair is.
