Aveda Introduces Invati, Promising Thicker, Fuller Locks

Thicker, fuller, lusher hair is something that all women covet (where would celebs be without extensions?). But unfortunately, as women age, hair begins to thin out, and a thick mane becomes unattainable. Luckily, Aveda has introduced Invati, a new line of haircare products that promises to reduce hair loss by up to 33%. It’s a natural boost that can help restore hair that’s thinning due to aging, stress, or other factors.

The debut Invati line contains 3 products: Exfoliating Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner, and Scalp Revitalizer. All 3 products contain densiplex, Aveda’s blend of herbs (including ginseng and turmeric) that’s said to invigorate and stimulate hair follicles. Read on to see what they can do for your locks.

Invati Exfoliating Shampoo ($24): This shampoo cleanses tresses and exfoliates the scalp. The shampoo is infused with wintergreen-derived salicylic acid to remove sebum (oil) and dirt that can clog pores and your scalp and hinder hair growth (and healthy hair).

Invati Thickening Conditioner ($24): Contains guar, palm, and grapeseed-derived ingredients to thicken hair, and kukui nut oil to add shine. This rich conditioner will help strengthen strands to improve elasticity and reduce breakage,  giving the appearance of thicker, fuller hair.

Invati Scalp Revitalizer ($60): Massage this into your scalp (before washing hair) to stimulate follicles and foster hair growth. It’s packed with vitamin E, which is said to improve circulation in the scalp with massage. Aveda says this product “creates the optimum environment for healthy hair.”

Do you feel more comfortable using natural products to stimulate hair growth and/or combat hair loss?

  1. I’m curious to know if this really works…it seems like a good alternative to chemical-laden treatments…which are sparse in the women’s market anyway.
